The Portsmouth School Sports Partnership was set up in December 2002 where 46 schools from across Portsmouth were included. In 2003, one year ahead of schedule, the remaining 21 schools joined. Now there are 57 infant, junior, primary and special schools along with 10 secondary schools including the Priory Specialist Sports College involved locally in the programme.
